** NOTE: THIS IS A PATTERN TO MAKE YOUR OWN TOP, NOT THE FINISHED ITEM **
*The majority of this pattern is the same as my Granny Square Pop-Over pattern. If you already have that one, you can find the pattern for the Christmas tree square for free on my blog*Tis the season to be cosy and warm, merry and bright, and stylish to boot.
As versatile and customisable as the original Granny Square Pop-Over with a cute, festive tree for the winter season.
So quick to make, you can hook them up for the whole family to wear to the tree lighting ceremony, or to a winter market for some hot chocolate.
Wherever you wear yours, you’ll feel snug, smug, and suitably seasonal!Sometimes you don’t need the bulk of a jumper underneath your jacket, but still want something a little cosy, which is why pop-overs are perfect!
Whether you wear yours as a warming vest over a shirt, or peeking out from beneath your winter coat, you can feel cosy and Christmassy in your seasonal crochet cover-up. Avoid those tropical moments in overheated shopping centres, and those brisk chills on your neck in the woods, this versatile vest will be your go-to for all those in-between weather days. This is a made to measure pattern so you can use any yarn, fibre and hook you have to hand. Meterage will vary greatly depending on your chosen size and yarn, I used approx. 350m to make my size M aran sample and approx. 300m for my chunky one.
Pattern is also available for free on my blog.
